No electrician is required for normal installation. Our hexagon lights plugs directly into a standard wall outlet, so there is no need for hardwiring. Simply connect the LED tubes and fittings, assemble the design, raise it into position and secure it to the ceiling. If you want the system permanently connected to a wall switch, that work should be completed by a licensed electrician.

The system is built from LED light bars and angled joining connectors. These components connect together to create your chosen lighting pattern. We recommend building the complete layout at floor level first, checking that everything works correctly, and then fixing the finished assembly to the ceiling.

Choose a layout that suits the dimensions of your ceiling and the area you want to illuminate. Our kits range from smaller lighting panels through to large double-garage configurations. Custom layouts can also be designed around your available space, including obstacles such as garage-door tracks.

Yes. The system is fully modular, and individual tubes, connectors and power cords are available separately. This means you can enlarge your existing setup, add an outer frame, extend the lighting into another area, or redesign the pattern in the future.

The wattage and lumen output for each kit are shown on its individual product page. Our lights operates at 6500K daylight white with a CRI of 85, providing bright, natural-looking illumination. Because the light comes from multiple bars and angles, it also helps reduce strong shadows across the workspace.

Most installations can be completed in around one to two hours, although having a second person makes lifting and positioning the assembled frame much easier. Basic tools such as a drill, screwdriver and ladder are normally all that is required. Build and test the system on the floor before installing it overhead.

It can be fixed directly to the ceiling or suspended using the supplied suspension cables where additional drop height is required. It is suitable for common ceiling surfaces including plasterboard, concrete, timber and steel.
