  • Designed with strength and quality in mind, our sheds use top quality colorsteel. All of our sheds are fitted with a line of bracings around the height of the wall. For large sheds, there is arch support extending all the way to the ground.

  • Steelmates garden shed has a minimum height of 2 meters for wall and door, which is the lowest height of the whole garden shed. There is robust headroom and allows you to move freely inside the garden shed.

  • The thickness of the steel on the market is generally 0.22-0.25mm, but Steelmates garden shed is 0.32mm, which is 1.4 times thicker than the average steel shed. This thickness gives Steelmates garden shed an excellent resistance to rust and corrosion, and empowers it with amazing durability whatever the weather, which can stay in great shape for many years!

  • An important step in the process of installing a garden shed is the installation of anchors, so that you don't have to worry about your shed blowing away in any kind of weather. Do garden sheds require a foundation?

Yes, a level and stable foundation would be required. This can include a concrete slab, or treated wood frame. A proper foundation helps ensure the stability and longevity of the shed.

If I already have a concrete pad can I put the shed directly on it?

Yes you can but if the concrete pad is not specifically made with rebates, it may be very difficult to seal and the rain water may seep into the shed from the bottom. 

Does it come with a floor or do I need to build my own floor?

The steelmates range sheds do not come with a floor. However, we can provide a detailed floor plan for you to construct the timber floor. It will give you the spec of the timbers and the quantity. Please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Serviceteam if you have any questions.
