Product Series: Aluminium Greenhouses

Steelmates warrants that the greenhouse framework will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years, and the polycarbonate panels for a period of three (3) years, from the original date of purchase, subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations set out below.

1. Warranty Conditions

1.1 This warranty is valid only if the product is installed, handled, cleaned, and maintained in accordance with Steelmates’ written instructions and recommendations.

1.2 Without limiting the above, this warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, misuse, incorrect handling, neglect, improper assembly or maintenance, accidents, impact from foreign objects, vandalism, pollutants, alterations, painting, improper connections, gluing or sealing not in accordance with the user manual, cleaning with incompatible detergents, or minor deviations that do not affect product performance.

1.3 This warranty does not cover damage resulting from force majeure events, including but not limited to hail, storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards, floods, or fire.

1.4 This warranty will be void if structural parts or components are used in a manner inconsistent with Steelmates’ written recommendations.

1.5 This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable to any subsequent owner or user.

2. Claims and Notification

2.1 All warranty claims must be submitted in writing to Steelmates within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect. Claims must include the original sales receipt and a copy of this warranty.

2.2 The claimant must allow Steelmates to inspect the product and installation site while the product remains in its original installed position and has not been removed, relocated, or altered. Steelmates may also request the product be returned for testing.

2.3 Steelmates reserves the right to independently investigate the cause of any product failure.

3. Remedies

3.1 If a valid claim is approved, Steelmates may, at its sole discretion:

(a) provide replacement part(s) or a replacement product; or
(b) refund the original purchase price of the product or affected part(s)。

3.2 This warranty does not cover any costs associated with removal, reinstallation, labour, transportation, taxes, shipping, or any direct or indirect losses resulting from product failure.

4. General Conditions and Limitations

4.1 Except as expressly stated in this warranty, all other warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4.2 Steelmates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from or in connection with the use of the product, except as required by applicable law.

4.3 Where applicable law prohibits the exclusion of implied warranties, the duration of such warranties shall be limited to the duration of this warranty or the maximum period permitted by law.

4.4 The purchaser is solely responsible for determining whether the product is suitable and safe for its intended application and location. Steelmates is not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from improper handling, storage, installation, assembly, or use of the product, or failure to follow written instructions.

4.5 Unless otherwise specified, the product is intended for normal residential use only. Steelmates is not responsible for any loss, damage, cost, or expense resulting from use not recommended in the written instructions or not permitted by applicable laws or building codes.

4.6 IMPORTANT: Proper anchoring of the greenhouse to the ground is essential for stability and structural integrity. Failure to securely anchor the product will void this warranty.
