Definitely not water proof as no gaskets under lock mechanism and they don't use blind pop rivets and no sealer.
other than the above a good tool box

Good for the money it is cheap like the price but works great for the purpose I chose it for.Bought one and attached to the bumper of the camper. So pleased I bought a second one, now have plenty of storage for small things.

I love the layout of these boxes. I use them to keep hardware inventory on my truck. The dividers work great and the bottom is perfect height so you can use a pack out for sorting screws and various smaller items.

For the price this is perfect.I just needed some thing this size that fits perfectly in my Chevy Colorado bed. The supports seem like decent quality and I don��t intend to abuse this so I am certain it will last a long time for what I need. It seems to have a good finish on it so if you were looking for a decent priced midsize toolbox to fit on the floor of your bed this should work for you just fine
