1.72m x 1.3m Metal Garden Shed for Outdoor Storage
Create a practical and organised outdoor storage space with this metal garden shed, designed for storing garden tools, outdoor equipment and household items. The door can be installed on either short side of the shed, allowing the roof slope to be positioned either upward or downward to better suit your installation requirements.

While imported sheds are often more affordable, many are not designed to withstand New Zealand's harsh sunlight, wind, rain and snow. Locally made sheds are typically stronger but more expensive and can be difficult to assemble without professional assistance.

- Double-folded 0.5mm steel major frames provide an effective 1mm structural thickness for increased strength.
- 0.32mm steel sheets for improved durability.
- Side walls can be assembled indoors before being moved into position, leaving only the roof panels to be installed on site.
- Screws are used to fasten the wall panels for faster installation, while rivets reinforce the frame and door for additional strength.
- Door can be fitted on either short side, allowing the roof slope to face either direction.
- Floor is not included. A floor plan is available.
Important Notes
Please note:
- This shed is not suitable for coastal environments.
- The warranty is not valid if the shed is installed within 2km of a body of salt water.
- For flooring, please leave a 30mm gap around the perimeter. The shed sits on top of the rebate to help prevent rainwater from entering.
- Floor is not included, although a floor plan is available.

Steelmates garden shed has a minimum height of 2 meters for wall and door, which is the lowest height of the whole garden shed. There is robust headroom and allows you to move freely inside the garden shed.
